Effective June 2025, Bayville Emergency Medical Services has implemented the use of Halo body worn cameras throughout the agency. This allows our agency to achieve an optimal balance between accountability and transparency while respecting the privacy interests of the Patients and the general public we serve.

The use of body worn cameras preserves Provider interaction with the Patient(s), captures evidence for use in certain cases, and serves as a training tool to assess Provider safety and assess best practices and interactions. These cameras are affixed to our EMT’s uniform (as depicted) and capture both video and audio recordings. This provides an unbiased and accurate record of interactions and care.
